Alexandra Issa Cucal (PHILIPPINES)

Alexandra is a diligent and enthusiastic little girl.  She studies hard to achieve her very best.  She works tirelessly at school and at home, where she helps with many chores. She is kind and generous but often she is too passive in class activities. Alexandra is the eldest of three girls in her family.  They live in a shanty town in a small borrowed house.  The house is made out of galvanized sheets with most of the floors being mud.  The floors get slippery during the rainy season.  They live beside a canal and during the monsoons, the heavy storms damage their little home.

If Alexandra were sponsored, her education would be insured and he one hope is to earn enough to deliver her family from the dangerous where they live.  She definitely needs sponsorship

Ambreen Ejaz (PAKISTAN)

Ambreen lives with her parents, three brothers and two sisters.  The rural area where they live provides little opportunity for regular employment for her father.  Her mother works hard to earn a bit of support from domestic work.  Ambreen is a capable girl who would benefit so much from a consistent education.  Due to financial difficulties, Ambrose is unable to attend school regularly.

To sponsor Ambreen would mean so much to the family, enabling her to attend school without the threat of leaving due to lack of school fees.

Boniface Wafula (KENYA)

Boniface is in class 3 at the Nancy George Academy.  He is the third born of seven children and they live in a very basic house within 1/2 kilometre of the school. His father is a watchman at a public school and his mother is a housewife.  Though Boniface has started going to the Academy, he has not been able to pay any school fees.  This cannot continue and because Boniface has such potential we are looking hard for him to be sponsored.

Could you sponsor Boniface?

Carious Sichangi (KENYA)

Carious is in class 6 at the Nancy George Academy.  He comes from a single parent family and his mother is Pamela who works as a brick maker on her 1/4 acre farm.  At the same time she has a kiosk on the same farm. selling her bricks.  Together with his mother, brother and aunt, they live in a two-room house about 5 kilometres from the school.

Though Carious was admitted to the school earlier this year, he has never paid the necessary school fees.  He is a capable little boy who badly needs to be sponsored so he can continue to go to school.

Carol Morales (PHILIPPINES)

Carol is in Grade 2 this year.  She performs well and is the "star" section of her class. She excels in drama and dancing and is not shy to perform. Her goal is to become a nurse when she grows up.  Her father works as a welder but work is very irregular during the rainy season as he often works in construction.  Her mother is looking for a job to help meet family expenses but because she is untrained, menial jobs are hard to find. The house they live in is owned by a cousin and the family can remain caretakers only until the cousin returns.

For Carol to continue her schooling, she needs to be sponsored.

Jeremiah Kiplimo (KENYA)

Jeremiah is in class 2 at the Nancy GeorgeAcedemy.  His father, Thomas Kosgel is a bicycle repairer and his mother is a housewife.  They live 4 kilometres from the school in a very simple house.  Though Jeremiah was allowed to attend school, he cannot contine as his parents cannot pay his school fees.

The only way Jeremiah can continue his education is if he is sponsored.  He is a worthy little boy who needs help!

John Joseph (PAKISTAN)

John lives with his mother and one younger brother.  Their father has left the family.  Johns mother does domestic work to bring in a bit of support but it is insufficient to pay the rent on their house, for food and to pay the school fees.  John wants to continue his education but without help this is impossible.  Yet he has very real potential.

The whole family would be very encouraged if John would be sponsored.

Loyce Adasa (KENYA)

Loyce is in grade 5 at the Nancy GeorgeAcademy.  Her parents are both tailors.  They live in a rented house with one acre of land about 5 kilometres from the school.  Loyce is the last-born of 5 older children.  She does not go to school regularly because the family cannot afford the school fees.  She is bright ad needs to be in school every day.

Loyce needs to be sponsored.

Manual John Dalacan (PHILIPPINES)

Manual John will be in grade 4 this year if he goes to school.  He is a gentle and friendly little boy, always trying to do well.  His parents are vendors and they work hard to provide food for the family. Manual has 11 half-brothers and sisters so there just is not enough funds to pay school fees.  Until Manual is sponsored, he will live with one of his half-sisters.  Once he can go to school, he will move back with his parents.

The rented family home sits at the side of a rocky mountain and it is not a safe place for young children as there is a ravine below. Manual need to be sponsored badly.

Nida Sadique (PAKISTAN)

Nida lives with her parents, two younger brothers and one sister.  Her fathers income is very low, and her mother does some domestic work when work is available.  Nida is in class 5 and she is an intelligent girl, but she is unable to continue going to school due to lack of school fees.

She desperately needs to be sponsored, enabling her to continue her education.

Rohama needs to be sponsored so he can attend school regularly as he will be expected to provide for the family in aduilthood.

When Ryan was 8 years old the doctor diagnosed him with asthma.  He suffers constantly, and it is aggravated  more in cold and rainy seasons.  His mother appreciates Ryans place at school and wishes only that he can continue.

Project of the month:

micro finance

micro finance

Some times as little as $100 gift can transform a man or womans life by giving them the capital to start their own business. A business like hair dressing, using a wheel barrow at a bus station or an oven to bake cakes to sell to travellers. All these and more have been used to start a person on the road to self sufficiency and wealth creation. WCM is starting a small deposit in order to create funds to be used by people in Asia and Africa to get a loan, use it and repay it back into that loan based through our reps in that country.
