This message is dedicated to the victims of 9/11 and their families. I share two items related to Islam that should be of interest to you, and a third item for prayer that is not necessarily related to Islam. This information won't make you happy, but it will tell you what you need to know.

9/11 Remembered

First of all, I just watched one of the most depressing videos I have ever seen. It is "The Third Jihad" by Dr. M. Xuihdi Jasser.

Dr. Jasser is a medical doctor and a Muslim. He wants to protect Islam in America from radical Islam, which is seeking to take over the world. After 9/11 he thought Muslims in America would stand up and denounce the heinous terrorist act. Instead, he found many of them actually embracing it. So he formed his own organization to fight against radical Islam.

The film presents radical Islam's vision for America. It's long -- about 71 minutes -- and not very pleasant watching. It will make you squirm in your seats. But if you haven't seen it yet, you should watch it to know what most likely lies ahead.

Only a small percentage of the world's 1.3 billion Muslims are radical. But if only 0.1% are radical, that’s still 1.3 million of them!

The video normally sells for $19.95, but in recognition of the anniversary of 9/11, he is making his video available for free viewing on the Internet for a limited time. What it says

Dr. Jasser says radical Islam that we see today is part of a 1400-year war. It began before the beginning of the Arab-Israeli conflict. He says there are actually three Jihads:

The first was during the 7th century A.D. when Arab armies came out of Arabia and conquered North Africa, Spain & Portugal, and countries to the East.

The second Jihad was when the Turks invaded the Balkans and southeastern Europe.

Today we are in the third stage of their global, cosmic struggle to bring about the domination of Islam over the entire world.

He claims that most Muslims in America of all races are proud of their country. Regrettably, there are also radical Muslims who hold different views. They want to see Sharia (Islamic) law installed as the law of the land. They hold the same values and views as Ben Laden and radical Islamists. As one American Muslim is quoted in the film as saying, "Isn't it time for every Christian and Jew to cast off the cloak of darkness and embrace Islam?"

When that happens, it will be a human rights disaster, just as it is in Somalia, Lebanon, and Gaza Strip.

Or look most recently at what happened in Nigeria. On July 26 members of Boko Haram, a Muslim sect opposed to Western education, began attacking police and civic places. Compass Direct reports hundreds of people dead, and huge property losses, including the burning of 20 churches, before police captured and killed Boko Haram’s leader. Nigeria allowed the Islamization of its northern states (they adopted Sharia law), and Christians have been squeezed in the vise there ever since.

The film shows interviews with Muslim women in Palestine who are grateful to sacrifice their sons as suicide bombers to kill others. And if killing their own children doesn’t bother them, it won’t bother them to kill your children, either. Remember what happened in Chechnya.

A war with two fronts

The jihad is being carried out on two fronts: with violence and by cultural change. Islamists use laws and rights they are given in our society to overthrow it. A 2005 study revealed that Wahhabism (radical, fundamentalist Islam) is dominant in most American mosques. Youths in these mosques are not being taught western values, but to hate secular society and establish an Islamic state.

In fact, a textbook of an Islamic high school in northern Virginia promotes religious intolerance. "It's permissible to kill an adulterer or a convert who left the faith," it states. That sounds like Saudi Arabia, where "Every week people are beheaded. Every week people's hands are cut off," according to one spokesperson in the video.

Dr. Jasser goes on to state that even the most outwardly pacific Islamic institutions, like CAIR, purposely attempt to deceive the American public. The Manifesto of the Muslim Brotherhood in North America states that their objective is to "eliminate and destroy western civilization as known in America by setting up groups in mosques...so that Allah's religion will be made victorious over all other religions."

One Muslim group predicts an "Islamic State of North America no later than 2050."

Moreover, according to Tom Ridge, former Secretary of Homeland Security, our prisons are fertile ground for Islamic recruitment. Thousands of angry prisoners convert to Islam every year. And there are a score or more of Islamic militant training camps across the U.S. where Muslims are trained in armed warfare.

The population deplosion

Just a few weeks ago CNN had a segment that warned about overpopulation of the earth. So the question was posed: Should people reduce the number of children they should have?

The answer, of course, is “NO.” The only ones who would voluntarily reduce the number of children they have are the educated people in the Western world. People in Muslim countries and other developing countries will keep right on having their litters.

Books like Islam in Britain by Dr. Patyrick Spookhdeo and America Alone by Mark Steyn show how the changing demographics will eventually put Islam on top even if they don’t conquer us militarily.

In France today Muslims compose only about 10% of the population. Yet they have a much higher birth rate than the non-Muslim (dare we say “Christian”?) population. So if the 10% Muslim population has 3.8% birth rate and the 90% nominal Christian or secular population continues to have a 1.4% birth rate, the Muslim population will equal the non-Muslim population by 2080!

I don’t know why Muslims need guns. They’re beating us in the bedroom!

The real war is not a war against terrorists; it’s war of ideology. It’s freedom and democracy against tyranny and Islamic control. If we don't recognize it as a battle for our society and way of life, then we might as well give up right now.

Some say America is only a little ways behind Europe in terms of population demographics and degree of Islamization. There’s much more in the video. It will tell you what you don’t want to hear, but what you need to know.

Pray for Muslims

Currently I am engaged in praying for Muslims through the “30 Days Muslim Prayer Focus.” It is a little booklet put out by YWAM that provides information on hundreds of Muslim people groups and Muslim beliefs in a 30-day prayer format.

It was intended for use during the Muslim month of Ramadan, August 22 through September 20. Even though the month is already half over, it is still a very interesting prayer guide and introduction to Muslim people groups and beliefs that you can use any time. I got my copy by making a donation to Mission Network News, but the book is published by WorldChristian.com (no relation to World Christian Ministries except by the same Spirit).

Pray for believers

While you are praying for Muslims, you most certainly should be praying for believers, that is, Christian believers, especially persecuted believers. William Johnson told me today that another Christian church was burned in Pakistan; I’m awaiting details.

Recent headlines from Compass Direct indicate:

• Lao authorities arrested a church leader, Thao Oun, on September 3 and threatened to kill him if his arrest is made public. The incident was made known today.
• Muslim extremists, seeking evidence that a Somali man had converted from Islam to Christianity, shot him dead August 18.
• In Bangladesh, police in Bangladesh arrest and torture Pastor Habibur Rahman at the urging of Muslim leaders on August 4.
• On August 3 a radical Muslim in Turkey held a Christian Turk, Ismail Aydin, at knife point for half an hour and threatened to slit the throat of the “missionary dog.”
• I already told you that Muslims rampaged through a Christian settlement in Pakistan on August 1, killing at least 14 Christians and burning more than 50 homes of Christians.
• And Compass published 20 stories in August relating to assaults against Christians in India.
