If you are a mission-minded Christian, click here to learn how you can participate in World Christian Ministries' exciting venture. If you are a leader or officer in a Christian ministry that works with or supports indigenous ministries overseas, click here.
The whole concept behind our name is that "World Christians" are those who have a global view of the mission of the church and what God is doing today. If you are a "World Christian," you can be a part of this endeavor:
-
Pray. The task is too great for human effort alone. It must be borne of prayer.
-
Refer. Do you know some mission leader from the two-thirds world with an exciting story to tell? Give us a synopsis of the story, and full contact information on the leader. We especially appreciate ministries that have been checked out and endorsed by other American mission agencies or churches.
-
Photos. We can use good international missions photos now, and will have greater use for them in the future. Let us know what you can offer. Remember, our focus is on indigenous missions.
-
Write. If you are a writer and have a story to submit, or would like to help us in doing research or writing, please contact us and let us know your gifts, experience and desires.
-
Design. If you are a graphic artist and would like to volunteer your services for a project, send us a resume and samples of your work. What may be volunteer effort now could turn into something more later.
- Give. We will need major funding to get the magazine off the ground and keep it running for the first two years. Meanwhile, smaller gifts enable us to buy ink, toner, postage, and pay for specific, one-time professional services. All contributions to "World Christian Ministries" are tax-deductible.
-
Suggestions. We may not be able to answer every e-mail, but we welcome your suggestions.
-
Subscribe to our e-mail newsletter now, if you have not already done so.
If you are a leader or officer in a Christian ministry that works with or supports indigenous evangelical ministries overseas, we invite you let us know of your interests. We once envisioned publishing a print magazine, but that seems out of the picture, at least for now. So we send out an e-mail newsletter approximately weekly. Here are some ways you can participate:
- Let us know who you are. Sign up for our newsletter and send us your name, and complete contact information of your ministry. We like to keep tabs on who is involved with indigenous ministries.
- Send us your stories. We are interested in stories of mission leaders from the majority world who have endured opposition, overcome obstacles, seen answered prayer, observed miracles, or have participated in explosive church growth or people movements. We are especially interested in such stories when the indigenous ministry has been checked out and affirmed by a responsible Western mission agency.
If you have such stories to share, send them (or a query) to us and when they are published we will list you as a supporter of that ministry. Then if readers want to help it, they will be advised to send their contributions to you. World Christian Ministries does not plan to be a direct aid-sending agency, but works in cooperation with those that do.
-
Photos. Photos are a help, if not essential, to any story. Copies of electronic photos we may use in your newsletter will be greatly appreciated.
-
Other stories. We welcome your suggestion on the kind of stories you would like to see in our newsletter. Send us your suggestions.
- Keep in touch. Sign up now to receive our free e-mail newsletter, which will keep you up to date on World Christian developments.
